Play Nanocity
NanoCity was designed in line with the Australian Curriculum and is aimed at students in middle secondary school year levels to promote science and technology as a prospective career path.

'In NanoCity, a city that has reached an all-time low in terms of living standards has been quarantined from the rest of the country. The leaders have been given the ultimatum: solve the city's problems, or the quarantine will become permanent.

You have been brought in by the Future Protection Initiative to lead research into nanotechnology. You are given the choice of working directly on two nanotechnology research projects, and are also responsible for deciding how research funding is allotted to other, more general nanotechnology research areas. The final fate of the city rests on your success in applying what you have learnt about nanotechnology.' (Edith Cowan University, 2018).
The following game was designed and developed by the Reasearch Centre for Transformational Games at Edith Cowan University in collaboration with the Australian Government's Department of Industry, Innovation, Climate Change, Science, Research and Tertiary Education as an engaging, interactive learning tool.
